Hi.
i'm experiencing a problem with installing fallout 3 1.7 patch. Actually, I can't run game either. i googled about this problem, and most people say it's a problem related with Windows LIVE. Using Windows 7 Ultimate K, and have updated every possible Driver, software, ETC. Whenever i try to run the game after installation process, and at the end of the patching process, it always gives me an error message saying 'The ordinal 5360 could not be located in the dynamic link library xlive.dll' Please help me with installing patches!!!!
use this bypass pack to set up your fallout 3 game files to play on an intel graphics card.
follow the readme in the package to alter your game to get rid of all of those compatability errors by adding a few files to your fallout directory. This workaround IS TESTED and i actually use this every time i play fallout. if it isnt working for you, feel free to comment and i will try to deduce the problem. I have released a detailed video tutorial to follow. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwb0Gijaj2A -- It's been almost two years since I posted this, and I can't say I'm surprised that it exploded as much as it did. I originally compiled this for my own use, as a one-stop-shop fix to the Intel Graphics issue, and only later passed it on to you all. Regardless of my intention, I'm glad I could help so many of you, nearly 40,000 total downloads, with the only complaints being from those who had made a mistake in the process. In conclusion, Fallout 3 is one of my favorite games of all-time, and I'm glad that now you all get to enjoy it with me.
Hey guys, I'm having an issue running Fallout 3 GOTY which I just downloaded from Steam. I'm attempting to run it on a Toshiba Satellite notebook running Windows 8 with an AMD A10 Elite Quad-Core processor and a Radeon dual graphics card
Fallout 3 Won T Work On Steam
Mass effect 1 nexus mods. After consulting the tech support link from the launcher, I attempted the following steps:
As Fallout 3 was created prior to the release of Windows 7 and 8, it's not tested or supported on either of these newer operating systems. You may be able to run it using compatibility mode in Windows 7/8, but we cannot guarantee it will function properly in this new operating system.
To change compatibility settings for a program: 1. Right-click the application file for the program. This can be found at C:Program Files (x86)Bethesda SoftworksFallout 3 (retail copy) or C:Program Files (x86)SteamSteamappsCommonFallout 3 (Steam version). You will need to follow steps 2-6 for the Fallout3 application file as well as FalloutLauncher. 2. Click Properties. 3. Click the Compatibility tab. 4. Check the box 'Run this program in compatibility mode'. 5. Choose Windows XP Service Pack 3 from the drop-down 6. It may also be necessary to check the box for 'Run this program as an administrator.' Fallout 3 Ordinal 43 Fix
However, after trying this procedure an error window popped up stating that :
'The ordinal 42 could not be located in the dynamic link library C:WINDOWSSYSTEM32xlive.dll.'
Does anyone know how to fix this?
